Japan Trip Yokohama, Tokyo, Osaka and Tanabe Day 2

Day 2 was a nice relaxing one as it was the trade only entry to the show meaning the hoards had not had a chance to get in and fill the place up so there was heaps of catching up with folks.

Being a big day previous I took advantage of a sleep in and went to the show d
uring gentleman hours not waking till 1000. By now the hysteria of the opening had settled and it meant a slow stroll around the event. Much smaller than the giant Osaka show there were many exhibitors with smaller booths that you would not normally find in the bigger shows. Found some cracking tungsten micro jigs with a 30g profile that weighed 60g. Can see many possibilities with them, problem is with anything tungsten it doubles the weight and doubles the price.

Very big emphasis on free slide kubara style jigs, companies like Jackall getting in on the market already built by Damiki and Hyabusa. This means bigger variety and better products while they all compete for price, good news for the angler.

I wont bore you with too much as I only spent about an hour in the show today will fill you in with more tomorrow.

Was good to catch up with the Gan Craft team tonight though, went for a feed at the Hard Rock cafe, I had a cracking Hickory smoked pork burger with a side of onion rings. It was very filling but worth the fill up, just when i thought it was safe to breath again Mr Hiraiwa ordered another steak for us, lucky every one wanted to share or I could have exploded on the floor of the restaurant.

We headed back to the hotel to chillax, we ended up in Mr Hiraiwa's hotel room talking gibberish and having a giggle when Gecki Chan arrived and just like the Eveready bunny from the ads he never stops. Very funny man and a brilliant Bass angler.

I piked early and headed off to sleep and plan out the following day
